Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work full-time as a Hand Therapist based in Newham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of therapy practices and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Hand Therapist job is £23.56 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an ongoing contract.
Main Duties/Areas covered:
- Efficiently asses for, select and fabricate custom made splints according to patient needs, diagnosis, clinical presentation and specialist input.
- Ability to engage in one-one patient care, utilising strong clinical reasoning and rapid rapport development, to deliver effective client centered and goal orientated treatment of varying hand and upper limb injuries including: traumatic injury, congenital conditions and postoperative rehabilitation
Requirements of the Hand Therapist:
- All applicants must have a relevant qualification in occupational therapy or physiotherapy and be professionally registered on the HCPC.
- You must have at least 2 years recent post qualifying experience working within a similar role.
- Required to work Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00
