Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Discharge to Assess Occupational Therapist to work in Buckinghamshire on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25 - £27 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract. The shifts for this include working 15 hours across 3 days per week.
Duties:
- Assess the patient in the care home for equipment needs
- Undertake home assessments which include determining what the patient needs/follow up review to check the equipment
- Assess for simple home adaptations to ensure a safe discharge home.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
- Must be a car driver
