Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work full-time within a Treatment Team Service based in Lewisham. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this full-time Community Psychiatric Nurse role is £27 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 6-month contract.
Job Purpose:
- To provide effective assessment and / or case management to people with complex non-psychotic disorders, using evidence based / client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
- To act as care co-ordinator under the CPA process if indicated.
- To provide leadership for students and / or junior staff, through supervision and appraisal.
- To participate in the planning, development and evaluation of the service.
- To supervise students on practice placements.
- To carry out MDT activities e.g. duty responsibilities.
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health
- Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
