Sanctuary Health are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work full-time within a Community Mental Health Recovery Service based in Chertsey. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this Community Psychiatric Nurse job is £24.94 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an ongoing contract.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- To work alongside nursing and therapeutic staff providing outpatient assessment and treatment to people who use our services with severe and enduring mental health disorders.
- To be able to assess, monitor, manage risk, care plan and attend to the physical wellbeing of the client group.
- To be able to administer medication where necessary.
- To be able to use or be trained to use the necessary I.T systems and document accordingly.
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- Recent UK Nursing experience
- Required to work Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
