Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse - CAMHS to work in Frimley.

The pay rate for this full-time role is £24.94 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Job Summary:

  • The crisis intervention service offer a 7 day a week, 9am-5pm service covering East Surrey Hospital and Epsom General Hospital in the East and Frimley, Royal Surrey and St Peters in the West.
  • We are looking for two floating staff members mon-fri to cover each side.
  • This will include liaising with staff in the morning to ascertain where the need is and traveling to that site to provide assessment, liaise with CAMHS services/social services and the young person's family/carers to ascertain if a safe discharge can be facilitated or more intensive support from other CAMHS services such as Hope may be required.
  • Discharge can be discussed with the team members and our doctor/duty consultant and 7 day follow ups post discharge arranged and facilitated to help support the yp, help to look at things such as reintegration back into school, further CAMHS involvement or support from other services as required, over 6 sessions post discharge.

Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:

  • Valid NMC registration under Mental Health.
  • Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable.
  • A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained).
  • System one knowledge required alongside previous crisis CAMHS experience
