Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work in Lambeth.

The pay rate for this full-time role is £27 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an ongoing contract.

Job Description:

  • To work as an autonomous mental health practitioner carrying out assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation, making decisions within broad clinical and professional guidelines and standard operating procedures. The Post holder will work independently and conjointly within the Lambeth Living Well Hub.
  • The post holder will be responsible for working in the MDT, supporting the team to manage demand, prioritise need and risk, coordinating and processing new referrals/introductions to the LWN, clinically assess needs, coordinate case discussion, liaise with all members of the team; partners of the LWN and outside agencies. This would include clinical and voluntary sector staff, peer support workers and any other agencies associated with the LWN.

Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:

  • Valid NMC registration under Mental Health.
  • Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable.
  • A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained).
