Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work Block booking shifts within a Psychiatric Liaison Service based in Wolverhampton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Community Psychiatric Nurse role is £25 per hour (Assignment Rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Undertake first line face to face biopsychosocial assessments of individuals referred from Primary Care. The appropriate Personal Protective Equipment will be provided.
- Undertake the role of Duty Worker/ Shift Coordinator
- Triage referrals from a variety of agencies including GPs, Healthy Minds (IAPT) which may involve signposting to other services or arranging for an assessment to be conducted by the team
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health
- Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- Community Mental Health Nursing experience
