Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurses to work in Islington.
The pay rate for this full-time role is £26-£27 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Assessing patients and administering care, in conjunction with primary care staff
- Improving the management of mental health in Islington through education and training
- Co-working with primary care colleagues to assess patients and provide treatment
- Working effectively as a member of a small multidisciplinary team, based in primary care
- Building relationships with Practice Nurses, GPs and other colleagues and providing education and training to improve confidence in the management of mental health.
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health.
- Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable.
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained).
