Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Clinical Technologist to work full-time in Carlisle. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of radiography and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Clinical Technologist job is £24 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform Nuclear Medicine in conjunction with other clinical technologists and nursing staff to the high standard expected by our patients.
- Perform radiopharmaceutical production in accordance with local standard operating procedures and 'Good Manufacturing Practice'.
- Perform equipment quality assurance procedures.
- Perform safety procedures and checks.
- Perform oral, inhaled and IV radiopharmaceutical administrations to adults and paediatrics.
- Support senior members of staff in the operational management of the department.
- Perform accurate and precise laboratory techniques.
Requirements of the Clinical Technologist:
- Degree or equivalent within radiography
- Recent UK post qualifying experience working as a Radiographer
- Must be HCPC registered
