Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Tier 2 CAMHS Practitioner to work full-time based in Bradford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of mental health nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum CAMHS Practitioner role is £23.35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To act as an interface between staff working in other services for children and specialist CAMHS by providing liaison, assessment, training and consultation regarding the emotional and psychological wellbeing of children and young people.
- To work with these staff in carrying out joint assessments and to provide brief interventions with individual clients as required.
- The post holder will be expected to provide assessment and therapeutic interventions at Tier 2.
Requirements of the CAMHS Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in mental health nursing
- Current NMC registration
- Significant NHS experience as a CAMHS practitioner
