What you will do:
– Conduct thorough investigations on blood samples to aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases.
– Provide compatible RBCs and blood products for patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
– Collaborate with a skilled team to deliver exceptional laboratory services in Haematology.
– Maintain detailed and accurate records using APEX and WinPath LIMS systems.
– Ensure compliance with quality control and safety protocols within the laboratory setting.
To thrive in this role, we ask that you have at least 2 years of post-registration experience working in an NHS blood transfusion laboratory, with specific expertise using the IH-500. Being a car driver and possessing HCPC registration are also essential requirements for this position.
