Sanctuary Health are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Adult ADHD Clinical Lead Nurse (RMN) to work within a Neurodevelopment Disorder Service. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this Clinical Lead Nurse job is £22.73 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent). This role is available on a 3-month contract.
Job Summary:
The post holder will participate as directed by the Clinical Team Manager and Clinical Lead in the operational functioning of the Leeds Adult ADHD service. The post holder is accountable for the delivery of:
Specialist assessments for adults with potential Adult ADHD
Delivery of non-pharmacological interventions, including adapted CBT models, for Adult ADHD
Supporting the monitoring of medication and if non-medical prescribers, prescribing and titration of pharmacological treatments if post holder holds a recognised non-medical prescribing qualification.
Requirements of the Clinical Lead Nurse:
Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
NMC registration and a valid live pin
Specialist knowledge of the assessment and treatment of Adult ADHD.
Ability to work intensively and provide indepth assessment, specialist advice relating to Adult ADHD
Experience in self directed management of patient caseload and good time management
Demonstrates experience of evidence-based practice for people with ADHD
Experience of teaching, training, and facilitation of the development of junior nursing and medical staff, professionals and care workers including preparation of teaching packages in regards to severe mental illness.
