Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5/6 Respiratory Physiologist to work full-time in Bournemouth. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Respiratory Physiology and be registered with the RCCP.
The pay rate for this locum Respiratory Physiologist job is £27 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.
Main areas/duties covered:
- Gas transfer
- Lung volumes (either plethysmography or Helium dilution)
- Spirometry
- F/V Loops
- Oximetry
- Bronchodilator assessments
- Respiratory Muscle assessments
- Bronchial challenges
- Oxygen assessments
- Exercise induced asthma testing
- Capillary blood gas sampling
Requirements of the Respiratory Physiologist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiology
- RCCP registered as a Physiologist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Physiologist
