What You Will Do
- Deliver Patient-Centred Care – Plan and provide individualised care for patients, ensuring a person-centred approach.
- Manage Care Plans – Act as the named nurse for a group of patients, developing and implementing care plans from admission to discharge.
- Delegate and Supervise – Coordinate and delegate tasks to junior staff, ensuring smooth shift management and high standards of care.
- Ensure Best Practices – Align clinical care with the Care Programme Approach and carry out accurate mental health clustering.
- Participate in Governance – Engage in clinical audits and governance activities to maintain and improve care quality.
- Mentor and Educate – Provide clinical supervision to colleagues and act as a mentor for nursing students.
- Resource Management – Attend meetings, manage resources effectively, and uphold Trust policies and standards.
- Support Recruitment – Assist in the recruitment, selection, and induction of new staff, fostering a positive work environment.
