Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to work full-time within a Healthy Minds Service based in West Bromwich.
The pay rate for this Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner job is £19-£20 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 2-month contract.
About the role:
The post-holder will work within the Healthy Minds Service providing high volume low intensity interventions which will be a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management interventions to clients in mental health clusters 1-3 with mild to severe anxiety and depression.
This post aims to take a lead in forging links and develop care pathways between Healthy Minds and other relevant organisations supporting the needs of the local community.
The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.
The post holder will liaise with third sector organisations, Local Authority and community groups to develop links and care pathways to improve access to psychological therapies. This will require a variety of differing tasks to develop a service that reduces stigma and promotes mental health services within the local community.
Requirements of the Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner:
The post-holder will possess a recognised qualification in PWP Low Intensity Psychological Interventions
