Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to fill a full-time role in Rotherham.
The pay rate for this Band 5 Pharmacy Technician job £20.15 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- Contributing towards provision of a dispensary service at the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust by dispensing and accuracy checking prescriptions, counselling patients and managing stock in line with departmental policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the timely dispensing of hospital prescriptions.
- To assess and interpret prescription documentation in order to then dispense inpatient, clinical trial and discharge medication with a high degree of accuracy.
- To undertake the duties of an accredited accuracy checker (dispensary based), checking the accuracy of in patient, clinical trial and discharge prescriptions dispensed by all grades of staff working in the dispensary.
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician:
- 2 years experience within a similar role
- GPHC Registration
- Post graduate experience
