Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5 Paediatric/General Nurse (RGN) to work in Leeds.
The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Nurse job is £19.83 to £28.70 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
About the role:
- The children have physical and learning disabilities and a range of conditions and interventions e.g. epilepsy requiring rescue medications, VNS, medication management, pain and spasm management, oral suction, bag and mask, diabetes, end of life care, ventilation (we would offer training) tracheostomy management and care, central line management (awareness and care of central lines) and stoma care.
- These shifts will be community-based working for our Children's Continuing Care Service within the Leeds area.
- Ideally, we would be looking at 2 nights per week (20 hours shift pattern either 9.30 - 07.30 or 10 PM to 8 AM.
Requirements of the Nurse:
- RGN qualified
- Active NMC Registration
- Business class insurance needed.
- Experience of caring for children with complex health care needs.
