Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5 Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor to work in Bury St Edmunds on a full-time or part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor job is £25.65 (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an ongoing contract.

Duties:

  • Perform clinical assessments, design and implement safe, progressive individual exercise treatment schedules, with daily recording of prescribed treatment plans and auditing of selected areas, in accordance with the ERI Standards of Proficiency to Practice
  • Conduct safe and effective group based exercise therapy sessions (up to a max of 15 patients) to restore optimal function to injured or ill service personnel
  • Lead a group of patients within a defined clinical area, setting appropriate rehabilitation treatment goals and assessing and treating all forms of musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries.
  • Work as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team providing a comprehensive and professional rehab service

Requirements of the Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor:

  • Degree or equivalent within physiotherapy
  • HCPC registered as a physiotherapist
