Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Bacteriology Biomedical Scientist to fill a full-time role in Harrow. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Biomedical Scientist practices and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Bacteriology Biomedical Scientist job is £30.00 - £35.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
The candidates should be prepared to work across core shifts (after initial orientation) Monday through Friday.
The hours are 37.5 per week and spread across 5 days per week.
The shifts (including one-hour unpaid meal break) are; Core 9 am to 5.30 pm.
Requirements of the Biomedical Scientist:
- HCPC registered
- Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science or alternative qualification
- Experience in one or more of the following systems; Bactec Fx blood culture systems/Sedimax urine analysers/MAST Urisys urine culture system/Bruker MALDI-Tofidentification system/Keistra total laboratory automation/SAMBA II/Cepheid GeneXpert
