Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Bacteriology Biomedical Scientist to fill a full-time role in Eastbourne, within the Microbiology Department. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Biomedical Scientist practices and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Bacteriology Biomedical Scientist job is £25.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Process samples
- Read plates
- Identify organisms
- Set up and read sensitivities
- Report results in a timely manner
Requirements of the Bacteriology Biomedical Scientist:
- HCPC registered
- Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science or alternative qualification
- Two years' experience in Bacteriology post-HCPC registration
