Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work in Braintree in the Early Intervention Team.
The pay rate for this full-time role is £24.74 to £25 per hour (Assignment rate) .
Duties:
- Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with Trust's care programme approach guidelines.
- To participate in the initial assessment of clients to determine appropriateness for FEP and to liaise with referring agencies to identify alternative agencies as appropriate to meet the client's needs.
- Undertake risk assessments with clients and plan effectively to manage this in care plan with MDT.
- Ensure that all interventions are undertaken within established time scales and according to standards of best evidence based practice and operational policy.
- To work flexibility and participate in the demands of the FEP Service.
- To provide clinical supervision and professional leadership to junior staff and promote evidence based practice.
- Attend training as provided and be responsible for keeping oneself up to date at all times with mandatory training.
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health.
- Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable.
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained).
- Keep oneself updated in all legislative government initiatives.
