Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Team Manager to work full-time in a Complex Adults Team based in Greenwich. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Assistant Team Manager job is £36 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and this role offers an initial 3-month contract.
Purpose of the job:
- To be accountable to the Team Manager for the supervision of a designated staff team working within the service.
- To be accountable for performance management of staff and the quality of work undertaken within the team.
- To ensure that the service meets information, advice, screening and assessment needs of vulnerable adults, adults with disabilities (and children with disabilities where appropriate to the service area), and carers, through quality standard setting.
- To ensure that the care management/OT process is integral to the routine activity of the service area and the work with partner agencies.
- To ensure that all work complies with departmental policies, procedures and that statutory obligations are met.
Requirements of the Assistant Team Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adult Services
