Sanctuary Social Care currently has a locum vacancy based in Hounslow for an Assistant Team Manager, within the Children with Disabilities 0-17 team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive rate of £36 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and this role is a 3-month contract.
Duties of the Assistant Team Manager:
- To ensure good outcomes for children and young adults in Need, subject to Child Protection Plans, LAC and/or Leaving Care, receiving a service under the National Eligibility Criteria or require safeguarding as adults through the delivery of timely, high quality social work services.
- To provide effective day to day management and support to Social Workers and Child in Need workers including the provision of reflective supervision, direction, guidance and decision making in complex cases.
Requirements of the Assistant Team Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's services
