Sanctuary Social Care currently has a locum vacancy based in Guildford for an Assistant Team Manager. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
As the post holder of this role, you will receive a salary of £23,000 per annum and this role is on a permanent basis.
Duties:
- Triage referrals and the need for a Care Act assessment
- Safeguarding
- 'Front door' duty
- Developing the skills of all staff in completing CHC assessments and following through to DSTs and disputes
Requirements of the Assistant Team Manager:
- A professional social work, occupational therapy, nursing or other relevant allied health qualification
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Management experience
- Full UK driving licence as well as access to a motor vehicle
- Social work, Occupational Therapy or nursing background
- Knowledge of the new D2A (Discharge to Assess) Scheme
- Good knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and the NHS Continuing Healthcare National Framework
