What you will do:
- Guarantee the team carries out its statutory duties under the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation, ensuring effective communication with adults and their carers.
- Provide structured professional supervision to maintain practice standards and nurture ongoing professional development within the team.
- Assist the Team Manager in offering daily leadership and direction, prioritising tasks and effectively managing risks to support team operations.
- Oversee Care and Support Plans, ensuring all interventions are timely and resources are effectively utilised.
- Collaborate with divisions and external agencies to deliver a seamless service for adults and their carers.
- Act as Safeguarding Adults Manager for investigations and lead safeguarding enquiry meetings.
