Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director to fill a full-time permanent role in London and Milton Keynes. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Substance Misuse.

The salary for this permanent Assistant Director role is £55,000 - £60,000 per annum and the contract length for this role is 6-9months.

Duties:

  • Provide leadership within the organisation and be an ambassador for the organisation's values ensuring staff are inspired, motivated, valued and perform to their full potential.
  • Line manage Service Managers, providing management supervision, support, coaching and appraisal and ensuring they deliver to agreed work plans and performance indicators.
  • Support the operational implementation and use of quality assurance, performance management and incident reporting systems.
  • Take an active role in supporting the retention of existing contracts and business and in developing new and existing partnerships and stakeholders' relationships which support the creation of new business opportunities.
  • Work in proximity with HR to manage a range if sensitive and variable issues, often involving disciplinary or grievance procedures.
  • Oversee budgetary management of services ensuring service managers control expenditure effectively against budgets and operate within the framework or financial agreement.

Requirements of the Assistant Director:

  • Significant experience as an Assistant Director
  • Management experience
  • Ideally a car driver
