Sanctuary Personnel, a committed and competitive recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to fill a full-time role based in Lambeth.

The pay rate for this AMHP job is £36 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 1-month contract.

Duties:

  • Working together with the multi-disciplinary team to holistically assess and provide crisis interventions to adults with mental health difficulties
  • Participate on the Centralised AMHP rota

Requirements of the AMHP:

  • Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
  • NMC registration and a valid live pin
  • Be fully qualified as a social worker with experience of working with multi-disciplinary adult mental health services
  • Applicants do not need to be practicing as AMHPs currently but must have done so within the past 5 years
  • Have current experience of working under the Care Act, Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act
