Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an Approved Mental Health Professional (Social Worker) to fill a part-time role based in West Berkshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this Approved Mental Health Professional role is £46.24 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Job Purpose:
- To work with service users and their carers to maximise independence in accordance with self-directed care principles.
- To assess people referred to adult social care for eligibility for services in accordance with the Care Act 2014.
- To work as a member of a specialist team and work collaboratively with NHS partners.
Requirements:
- A Social Work qualification
- AMHP qualification
- Current Social Work England Registration
- Current and past experience of acting as an AMHP
