Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an Approved Mental Health Professional (Social Worker) to fill a full-time role based in Wandsworth. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this Approved Mental Health Professional role is to be confirmed and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To undertake statutory MHA assessments for the boroughs of Richmond and Wandsworth, complying with legislation and relevant codes of practice.
- To work collaboratively with internal and external partner agencies.
- To promote equality, diversity, inclusion and strength-based practice.
- To understand duties and responsibilities for safeguarding children, young people and adults.
Requirements:
- A Social Work qualification
- AMHP qualification
- Current Social Work England Registration
- Current and past experience of acting as an AMHP
- Must have carried out an assessment in the last 6 months
