Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for drivers for a private ambulance service based in Bury St Edmunds.
This is a full-time, contract position paying £11.30 per hour (assignment rate) and has an initial 3-month contract.
A background in a healthcare or driving sector would be advantageous.
Summary:
Training will be provided (course is two weeks) and the role will involve the non-emergency movement of patients with varying mobilities via ambulance to hospital appointments, discharges to care homes or private addresses, transfers between hospitals etc.
The role is 40 hours a week - 4/5 shifts across a seven-day rota with hours between 05:30 am to midnight.
Requirements:
Full, clean UK driving licence with a minimum of two years' experience driving
Clean Enhanced DBS disclosure
Preferrable good standard of education
