Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Alcohol Recovery Practitioner to work full-time based in Chlemsford and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of substance misuse.
The pay rate for this locum Alcohol Worker job is £16 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Job Summary:
- To provide a welcoming and supportive environment for clients wishing to access the service promoting harm minimisation.
- To plan, organise and deliver structured 1-2-1 interventions to clients with alcohol use using relevant and recognised theoretical models. This also includes supporting/delivering group programmes) and promoting the wider health agenda to ensure clients wellbeing.
Requirements of the Alcohol Recovery Practitioner:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar Substance Misuse role
- Experience with substance misuse clients
- Must be a car driver
