Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Advanced Social Worker to work full-time within an Older People Team based in Wandsworth. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Advanced Social Worker job is £28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Advanced Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adult Services
- At least 3 years Local Authority practice experience with older people in the community.
- Experience of Duty, Assessment of Care Needs under the Care Act 2014, Carers' Assessment, Reviews, Mental Capacity Assessment, Best Interest Decision Making, Advocacy, Support Planning and Safeguarding/Risk Management is essential for this role.
- Good understanding of strengths-based approach to maintaining wellbeing and independence, promoting the use of Direct Payment and experience of NHS Checklist, DST/CHC processes and partnership working will be added advantage.
- Good experience of IT and Mosaic essential for this role though, training will be provided.
