Sanctuary Social Care has a locum vacancy for an Advanced Social Worker to work full-time based in Liverpool, within the Early Help Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Advanced Social Worker role is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- As post holder of this role you will oversee and provide management oversight to multi-agency EHAT and TAF reviews as well as completing these on a small number of cases.
- If successful, you will carry a small caseload of complex LON 3 families' providing 1:1 parenting work and undertaking direct work with children and young people to explore their daily lived experience.
- You will also supervise a team of 4 Outreach Family support workers supporting families with children aged 0-5 years.
Requirements of the Advanced Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's services
- Must be a car driver
