Sanctuary Social Care has locum vacancy for an Advanced Social Worker to work full-time based in Croydon, within the Children and Families Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Advanced Social Worker role is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Advanced Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's services
- Ability to form relationships with professionals and families
- Ability to assess children and families holistically
- Able to comply in practice with statutory requirements and guidance, and local procedures and standards
- Able to develop, implement and review evidence-based multi-agency care plans
- Experience of working with children on child protection plans, a child in need plans and court experience
- Substantial experience of effective analytical assessments and outcomes-focused care plans
- Significant experience of working in a statutory setting with children and making professional judgments that deliver improved outcomes
