Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Advanced Social Worker to work within an Adults Locality Team based in Croydon.
The pay rate for this Advanced Social Worker is £32 per hour (assignment rate) and is an initial 6-month contract.
Main duties:
- Holding asset based person centred conversations to identify strengths, risks and needs
- Co- producing person centred support plans
- Formulating plans to manage risk that support the achievement of desired outcomes
- Identifying and intervening in line with Safeguarding Adult procedures when there are allegations of abuse
- Taking appropriate action to deal with emergencies, for example, the breakdown of an existing care situation
- Undertaking statutory assessments under the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and other relevant legislation
- Preparing Court reports and representing the council in Court hearings when required
- Supporting more junior staff in preparation for Court hearings, accompanying them to Court and liaising with the council's legal advisors
Requirements of the Advanced Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent within Social Work
- Current Social Work England registration
- You must have recent experience working within a similar role
