Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Advanced Social Worker to work full-time in Swindon in an Adults Safeguarding Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The salary for this Permanent Social Worker role is£38,000 per annum.
Duties:
- The post holder will contribute to our vision and re-shaping of our Adult Safeguarding Team.
- You will be supported by the Safeguarding Leadership team in promoting a culture of continuous improvement through ownership of performance and maintaining quality assurances system for the service.
- Promote quality and consistency of social work practice
- Work closely with the senior Leadership team to support junior staff
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services.
- Have at least two years of experience in managing Adult Safeguarding Concerns and Enquiries.
- Be able to energise and inform the registered workforce to deliver the Care Act 2014 duties, especially Chapter 14.
