Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award-winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Advanced Social Worker to work full-time based in Yeovil, within the Looked After Children (LAC) Team.

The pay rate for this locum Advanced Social Worker role is £35.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.

There are two small teams who work closely as one supportive team. There are two permanent experienced Team managers and a mix of experience within the team from newly qualified workers through to Advanced Practitioners. There is also a 'family time team' within the service to support with family connection.

The team’s role is to support children who are not living with their birth family - from 0-18 years. Care planning, court work, adoption, direct work with children and re-connection with families.

 

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Previous experience within a frontline social work LAC team
