Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker Advanced Practitioner to work full-time Sheffield in an Early Help Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Advanced Practitioner job is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties of Social Worker Advanced Practitioner:
- Manage a caseload of the most complex cases or a case of sufficient risk and profile to warrant an experienced worker to work solely on it.
- Co-work difficult cases with less experienced allocated workers.
- Act as a practice teacher to students on placement so as to ensure the dissemination of learning.
Requirements of the Social Worker Advanced Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant experience in Children's services
