Sanctuary Social Care is recruiting for a persistent and reliable Advanced Practitioner to work full-time within an Assessment Team based in Tewkesbury. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Advanced Practitioner job is £39,782 - £42,683 per annumn, plus a £5k Welcome Payment.
As an Advanced Practitioner you will focus of driving best practice throughout your team and the wider service alongside working a small complex caseload. Using training, development and research you will provide mentoring and support to colleagues including a student social worker. To undertake this role with us we need:
- Your commitment and enthusiasm to add value to our Children's Service
- Your front line experience as a qualified and registered social worker
- Your mentoring/coaching experience to support students to achieve
- You to provide high level support and challenge to social work colleagues to foster a learning culture
- You to also bring resilience to manage situations of a challenging nature
Requirements of the Advanced Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant experience within similar roles
- 2 years post qualified experience within Assessment or Safeguarding.
- Car driver
