Sanctuary Social Care has a permanent vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Advanced Practitioner to work full-time within an Assessment Team based in Stroud. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice and be registered with the HCPC.

The salary for this permanent Advanced Practitioner job is £39,782 to £42,683 per annum (+£5000 welcome payment).

Summary:

  • As an Advanced Practitioner you will focus of driving best practice throughout your team and the wider service alongside working a small complex caseload. Using training, development and research you will provide mentoring and support to colleagues including a student social worker.

To undertake this role we will need:

  • Your commitment and enthusiasm to add value to our Children's Service.
  • Your front line experience as a qualified and registered social worker.
  • Your leadership experience including mentoring / coaching to support a team of social workers.
  • You to provide high level support and challenge to social work colleagues to foster a learning culture.
  • You to also bring resilience to manage situations of a challenging nature.

Requirements of the Advanced Practitioner:

  • Recognised and relevant professional qualification e.g. DipSW, CQSW, CSS.
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • You will be a qualified Social Worker of 3 years+ with current HCPC registration.
  • Required to work 37 hours per week.
