Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locumrole for a Band 7 Advanced Emergency Occupational Therapist to work full-time based in North East London, within the Community Treatment Team.
The pay rate for this locum Advanced Emergency Occupational Therapist job is £28.99 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Requirements of the Advanced Emergency Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy and HCPC registered
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Sound clinical reasoning and be confident in their discharge ability at a fast pace
- Be able to assess and order basic and complex equipment
- Benefit from having experience in this area and will need to be able to manage challenging conversation in a highly pressured area
Shift Pattern:
- 10:00 am – 22:00 pm with seven day working
Duties:
- Be responsible for a team of early intervention assessors based in the Emergency Department at Queens Hospital
- Be responsible for identifying the patient who may benefit from their input and starting the OT process
