Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a job based in Waltham Forest for a Band 7 Advanced Dietitian to work 3 days per week, within the Eating Disorders Service.
The pay rate for this locum Advanced Dietitian job is £30.96 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- Work with the multidisciplinary team (North East London NHS Foundation Trust Community eating disorder service) in assessing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating a programme of care for service users with eating disorders
- Manage a service user caseload with the support of the multidisciplinary team
- Provide specialist evidence-based dietetic service and from this formulate a treatment plan
- Counsel, educate and review service users/carers who have been referred for dietary intervention and use appropriate language and education tools to meet the service user needs and requirements
- Ensure that dietary recommendations are communicated by utilizing the highest level of interpersonal skills to all members of the team and incorporated in the service user's overall package of care
- Provide clinical support to the MDT and other health professionals by maintaining effective communication
Requirements of the Advanced Dietitian:
- Degree or equivalent within Nutrition and Dietetics
- HCPC registered as a Dietitian
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Dietitian
