Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Cambridge, within the Transfer for Care Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £34.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Feedback almost daily on each allocated case
- Highlight any areas of cases that will need management guidance
- Ensure correct information including financial information in relation to charging for services is given, explained and written recording is robust and accurate
- Participate in the Duty rota to support reviews and restarts of care
- Respond to safeguarding concerns in consultation with the senior social worker and/or manager
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Ability to communicate effectively with people and their support networks
- Ability to deal with complex issues professionally and timely
- Ability to ensure linger term needs are identified
- Competent in recognising safeguarding concerns
