Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a locum vacancy for an Adults’ Social Worker to work full time based in Kingston, within the Mental Health Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and has an initial contract of up to 3-months.
Main Duties:
- Support RBK’s response to the Pandemic Context
- Duty cover for MH Social Care Team Shadow and duty cover for MH social care team
- AMHP duties if qualified
- Care Act Assessments
- Work with Supported Living and Homecare Frameworks SAM and / or Enquiry Officer in Safeguarding Investigations
- Active participation in Team meeting, allocations, SGA meetings
- Joint Review supported living and residential care placement with health representatives from the Mental Health Trust and GP
- Promote step down in supported living, recovery & independence
- Crisis Intervention and social work support for those living independently
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Adults’ Services
- Be familiar with Google Chromebook, work mobile, and able to adapt to work from the office or from home
- Experience of Mental Health Social Work / Care Management Working with Functional Mental Health problems and Autism
