Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Sutton, within the First Response Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £30.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults
- Experience within adult safeguarding
- Good understanding of the application of the Care Act, the Mental Health Act, the London Multi-Agency Safeguarding Adults Procedures, the Mental Capacity Act
- Experience of the application of the ethos and values of "Making Safeguarding Personal"
- Knowledge and experience of working with Continuing Health Care and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
- Experience of working with residential/nursing and domiciliary providers
