Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Bromley. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £30.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Assess the needs of people with acute, complex or enduring mental health issues and the needs of carers
- Formulate and implement care plans
- Monitor, review and evaluate services
- Hold a small caseload
- Maintain client records
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Experience of working with people with complex, acute and/or enduring mental health needs which may be challenging at times
- Experience of working in collaboration with other mental health workers, both in the community and hospital setting
- Excellent report writing skills
- Car driver
- Broad knowledge of the Mental Health Act
- Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure
