Sanctuary Personnel are excited to announce an opportunity for a new Occupational Therapist to join our client's fantastic team based in Camberley. This role offers a starting salary of £39,355 per annum, based on a 36-hour working week. While advertised as a full-time position, they are open to part-time applications and are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements.

About the Team:

The Locality Team is part of a pioneering Integrated System, fostering close working relationships with health, hospital colleagues, and partners from the voluntary sector. This collaborative environment makes their team an exciting and supportive place to work.

About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist in the Locality Team, you will develop a broad range of skills essential for frontline holistic occupational therapy practice within a social care setting. You will work with a diverse client base, including those who are elderly and frail, individuals with learning disabilities, physical or sensory impairments, and those with mental ill health.

Your role will involve:

  • Client Engagement: Working with clients to assess and address their needs using a strength-based approach.
  • Assessments and Interventions: Conducting assessments such as moving and handling risk assessments, and developing interventions to empower clients to lead meaningful lives within the community.
  • Collaborative Working: Partnering with team members and other organisations to provide integrated services to support vulnerable adults and their carers in community settings.
  • Community Visits: Visiting clients in their homes and other settings like residential and nursing homes to provide tailored support.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Previous UK Occupational Therapy experience
