Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Adults' Social Worker to work full-time in Barnet in a Hospital Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £26 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
The team are not working from home as a team but can ensure we operate a covid safe environment with Risk Assessment in place.
Duties of Social Worker:
- To assess the needs of people in the area who require social care support and advice.
- To provide services that meet the outcomes identified in the assessment and review services to ensure they continue to meet the identified outcomes.
- To safeguard vulnerable adults
- All work to be carried out with users of our service, their families and carers within the framework of the seven social care outcomes:
- Improve health and emotional wellbeing
- Improve quality of life
- Making a positive contribution
- Exercising choice and control
- Maintaining personal dignity
- Economic wellbeing and freedom and freedom from discrimination
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
