Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Adult Social Worker to work full-time in Perth and Kinross in the Contracts and Commissioning Team/Care Homes Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Scottish Social Services Council.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £30 - £33 per hour (Assignment rate) and is until February 2021.
The hours are 36.00 hours per week and will primarily be Monday to Friday, however some weekend and evening work may be required subject to care home demands. Currently, we are looking for the individual to commit to the role up to end February 2021 as a minimum.
Duties of the Social Worker:
Work within our Contracts and Commissioning Team which is part of a Care Homes Team - it is currently being expanded to provide a longer term support and assurance role to commissioned care homes within Perth & Kinross, this is terms of National Care Standards, Clinical Oversight, and Adult Support and Protection
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Scottish Social Services Council Registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services ( a years' experience minimum )
- A minimum of one years' experience of Adult Support and Protection
