Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Adult Social Care Occupational Therapist to work in Surrey on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The salary for this permanent Occupational Therapist job is £35,382 - £39,246 per annum
Job Summary:
- The post holder will work within all of the following locations: Guildford, Godalming, Woking, Addlestone, Ashford, Epsom, Esher, Dorking, Reigate and Oxted and Camberley
- To provide a professional Occupational Therapy service to adults in Surrey, their families and carers in line with national legislation, local policy and procedures.
- To promote wellbeing and independence by completing complex occupational assessments, proportionate support plans and by using specialist equipment, adaptations, skills gain and risk management programmes.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience of working within a social care or community focused multi-disciplinary setting
- Ability to complete person centred and proportionate OT assessments
- Familiarity with moving and handling equipment such as hoists and stand aids
- Knowledge of medical conditions and the likely impact on the individual, carer and family
- Continuing professional development. Applicants must have, and maintain current registration with the Health and
- Care Professions Council (HCPC) and adhere to the HCPC standards for conduct, performance and ethics.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
